The art of surfboard making is literally a dieing artform. Today there are computers to design and shape blanks, machines to shape blanks - hell. Even China is making an ok looking surfboard. But when it comes to makin decent boards - there is 1 important criteria. The Shaper must be a cracker surfer themselves. Matt Hurworth is Australias new rising star in the shaping scene. Regularly making the finals in many local surf comps, for many years Matt has made awesome boards and now Guerrilla Group are branding him for the future and Matt will also be shaping for BluFluid.
